Statement of Faith
1. We believe that Biblical salvation is by grace through faith in Christ apart from any works such as baptism, church attendance, good deeds, etc. (Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).
2. We believe God exists in three persons, the Father, the Word (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost (I John 5:7).
3. We believe that Jesus Christ is God and the Saviour of the world (John 1:1,14).
4. We believe that saved people cannot lose their salvation. An individual who is genuinely converted is eternally secure (John 3:36; John 10:27-28).
5. We believe there is a literal hell reserved for the Devil and his angels and all unsaved people (Rev. 20:10-15), and there is a heaven for God's people (I Peter 1:4; John 14:1-3).
6. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, inerrant and preserved in the King James Bible. We in no way endorse, condone or accept any other English translation of the Bible (Psalm 12:6-7; II Tim. 3:16).
* The following are some distinctions that we have in contrast to the majority of churches today.
7. We believe that the Scriptures teach that the church is to be an assembly of called out believers. Not understanding this has been a cause for much confusion in our modern-day churches, as well as affecting the purity of our local assemblies.
8. We teach and preach the Biblical roles for the family including the leadership of the husband, the wife being a keeper at home and the children being subject to their parents (Eph. 5: 22-26; Titus 2:4-5).
9. We believe in practical separation from the world (dress standards, convictions concerning the media, etc.).
10. We believe in Biblical evangelism, discipleship, and church planting, which would include door to door witnessing, tract distribution, etc. (Acts 20:20).
